I was just wondering if anyone has ever bought any fish from liveaquaria.com.
and if so are they a trustworthy buisness?
do they have good quality fish?
Liveaquaria.com is a part of Drs. Foster & Smith (www.drsfostersmith.com). Drs Foster & Smith is a very trustworthy business. Though I have never purchased livestock via the internet, that is one of the few businesses that I would trust to do so. I purchase almost all of my equipment and Salt mixes from Drs. Foster & Smith and have no complaints thus far. Great prices, and usually 3 days from order to delivery.
I try to buy all my supplies from them as well. Awesome prices. Takes about a week to get them ground shipped, but planning ahead saves some major $$$.
And as far as liveaquaria, have ordered from them once and they were excellent. Everything showed up alive, and great instructions for aclimenting (sp) the fish - not supposed to get the water that they are shipped in in the tank. The only negative thing I could find was that they say it is next day air shipping, and being in the shipping industry thought of a commit time of 10:30 AM, and made sure I was home. Turned out to be the relaxed next day, having the commit time of 3 PM or so. They would have left it on the porch, but I wanted to be there and get them in my tank asap - too excited.
