I used to get them from Ebay. The ilnassarius were sold for around $20 delivered per 600. They seem to be much more as of late.

I should also add that I regularly feed live mussels and clams. It didn't cross my mind because you don't think of them as live. When you buy them from the supermarket they should all snap closed. If they stay open they are not to be eaten. I toss em in my salt tank and my fish decide which to eat that day and the rest stay fresh until they get around to them.
