A Little help required pls...

Hi guys i'm new here and thought i'd start buy asking for a little help.

I've just upgraded my tank as I realised it really wasn't suited to my fish, they now love the bigger tank with more room.

anyway I just wondered if anyone had any ideas with what to do with my old tank, it's an Elite 21L http://www.maidenheadaquatics.co.uk/...s/21purple.jpg

i was thinking i'd put it to good use by learning how to handle a planted tank, as i havn't taken the leap in my main tank yet, and this seems perfect for this use, and if it works out well i can use it as a nano tank.

anyway if anyone has any ideas or has done something similar i'd love to hear.

Do you know what kind of lighting is in the tank? If you're unsure, I would stick with low light plants such as cryptocorns. I'm partial to spiralis and wendtii/lutea for low light plants.

Both of my betta tanks are planted. I think they prefer it. :)

yeah I used to have a small eclipse tank with biowheel filter and heater in it and live plants. Kept a betta in there with a small cory, dwarf frog and a white cloud minnow...betta loved it!
