what would be the best light for my tank, it's 7' long and 29" deep, 210 gals.
I do plan to use live plants (this is new to me) and lots of fish.

Oh! It,s a 72" (6') not 7' tank.

If you are intending a natural or low-tech method, dual T8 tubes full length will work. Over a 7-foot tank this would require fixtures that take 36-inch tubes in parallel, so you would have in the end four 3-foot tubes, two left and two right of centre. I don't know how your tank is constructed, but I assume there is at least a centre brace so the fixtures would likely be two separate ones as I doubt they make one 7 feet in length.

If the intended plants include more high-light types or high-tech with diffused CO2 and daily nutrients is in tended, more light would be needed to balance, and this is a case where T5 would be better.
