Yes, I did and will order again! Are you going to be getting some rasboros??

If you don't stand up for something you'll fall for anything...

Well I'm in negotiations...

Also considering breeding them myself....They seem to be relatively in demand.

I order most supplies online and make the trip to a GOOD LFS for fish.

Don't care how far away they are because I don't need livestock very often so it's worth the drive to get healthy, well cared for fish.

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

I agree that you should go with whoever knows the most, not who owns the store. My two preferences on where to buy fish are actually one of each. I work at PetSmart and so I know how well the fish at my particular store are cared for, so if I fall in love with something there of course I'll get it (the employee discount doesn't hurt, either). However, my store doesn't always have what I want (after we remodeled our african cichlid selection went to pieces) so I make a 45 minute drive to the place I like. It's the only store in my area that's completely 110% fish only, and they know more about every other place around put together. They're a small, family owned shop (a guy and his two sons) and they're just great.

Definitely go with who you like, not whether they're corporate or private.
