Hi Trish, your water change routine during the cycling proccess highly depends on whether you have any fish in the tank.

If you do, could you post what sort of fish and how many? Oh, and what size is the tank?

Amphitrite-

I don't have any fish yet. The tank was cycling for 2 weeks with fish food before I got some wet gravel from a friend's established tank on thursday. I'd put Stresszyme in it about a week and a half ago, and again on thursday. It is a 20g long...

Trish

Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming...

If you have no fish yet you are in good shape, the ammonia has started to turn to nitrite but we can't tell if the nitrite is turning into nitrate yet. If the nitrite levels drop to zero, that will tell you its happening. The next step is to decide how often and how much water to replace. To do that we need to know how high your nitrates are and how fast they change. Keep your cycle going by not letting the ammonia go to zero for very long and you should do just fine. You are definitely on the way.
