:) Fun thread! I love love LOVE my Kuhli loaches. They're so much FUN!

My absolute most favorite fish EVER are my Bolivian Rams *points to avatar* These guys are so full of personality!

I also really like my Mollies - again, a very sweet fish, as curious and silly as they come - I have a whole family of Mollies :)

I don't know if NOT fish count, but I'm totally in love with my African Dwarf Frog, and am a huge fan of Apple and Nerite snails, too!

As for putting the information down. . . gah! I've learned SO much about all of the above, it would take me a month to write it all out here *giggle*

It's so cool that you started at 4. I only started a few months ago - so pretty much ALL of the fish I keep are my favorites! My daughter also helps me out, and she's 4, so hopefully by the time she's your age, she can be a 50 gallon kid, too!

I've got to say that my male bettas are my first loves and my Green Tiger Barbs in my community tank would have to be my second choice. They're awesome looking fish with those bright orange mouths. They love to nip at my arms when I do water changes so I have to admire their spunk.

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

My two baby clownfish, they are nuts!
Second would be my cleaner shrimp, it seems to have found its home hanging upside down on my overflow box.
Third would be my entire 180g tank, well technically not mine as I sold it but am still doing maintenance on it.

10g Fry / Hospital / QT tank (as needed)

75g Saltwater Reef, Ocellaris Clownfish, Lyretail Antias (baby), Lemon damsel, Longtail Fairy Wrasse, purple dottyback, snails, crabs and a few LPS corals.

220g Still sitting empty (come on Lottery I need the numbers to come up!)

Iv got to say and some people will hate me for it but i bought Congo Tetras on a reccomendation from my LFS and iam so happy i did! They have clearly become my favourites in time. I have six that are always together in a shoal and there personalities are all so unique and there damn cheeky!!!!!!!
One of them has developed a new trick whereby when its hungry and wants food it will look for me, wait to catch my eye then go and find a bit of plant to tear off and start chewing it like an old farm hand! Cheeky so and so!

Fish will brighten your day even when the world tries to darken it

My current favorite fish are my Rainbow Darters their fast, active, social, and very clever, but i used to have a pair of weather loaches a few years ago that I loved and have since died of unknown causes after reaching adult size and now I have a gold dojo loach that is much less shy then my two weathers were. I tried my hand at a peacock eel in my 90 gallon but after a couple weeks he disappeared, probably was too small to handle himself with the other inhabitants at the time

My future favorite will probably be a pair of ropefish I'm planning on adding to my 150g once my LFS gets them in

That would make sense. Haven't you heard? We make yogurt, not sense.

I am fairly new to fish keeping, and have a community 55 gallon. My favorites so far are the female bettas. They are so calm and almost dog-like in that they aren't least bit afraid of me, follow me when I walk by, and I can even pet them .They eat from my fingers, but so do most of the others. They are slower than a lot of fish and so relaxing. I also am very, very fond of Mollies. I love to watch how they pick at stray pieces of food and greens. Almost like a pecking motion. Cories are definitely another favorite of mine. The Otos are cute too, as are the Kuhli Loaches. I am looking forward to soon getting a Bolivian Ram. From the sounds of Chesherca's post, sounds like it will almost be on my favorites list!

10 gallon- 8 Harlequin Rasboras, 1 female betta.

20 gallonH - 1 Peacock Gudgeon, 2 Skunk Cories, 1 Sparkling Gourami. , one male betta, 2 nerite snails.

55 gallon - 3 Turquoise Rainbows, 1 Boesemani Rainbow, 2 Australian Rainbow, 4 Gold Dust mollies, 1 L. Dorsigera, 2 White Cloud Mountain Minnows, 1 Honey Gourami, 3 Cherry barb, 1 Koi Angelfish, 4 female betta.
