| || | LED's: I'm more confused than a baby racoon!
I hope someone can help me understand what I should be going for in regards to LED lighting for my 200 liter freshwater tropical tank.
I think I 'may' have understood that I will need 2 TMC Grobeam 600's as these come recommended, and I do like the look of them too as they appear to enhance plants and fish, going by some Youtube videos.
I tried calling TMC direct, but got a continual engaged tone, and this after trying their London and Manchester branches for ages. Argh, the frustration!
I want to achieve natural daylight/moonlight using a controller, but I am confused over the best options, as I have a varied selection of fish, frogs, kuhli's and shrimps, etc and have an 'Amazonian' style planted layout, with hardy types.
My tank dimensions are 24 inch deep and 40 inch in length.
I am hoping one of you clued up guys can enlighten me in regards to going for 2 Grobeam 600's or perhaps just one Grobeam 1200? I'm not sure about moonlight either and think I have to add another LED for this? *Scratches head*
As you can see, I couldn't pour water out of a boot with instructions on the heel, but that's me in a nutshell, when it comes to lumens, volts, watts and blooming PARS and PURS!
So your help in steering me in the right direction would be so very much appreciated.
Thanks ever so much in advance for any advice.
