kissing gourami possible white spot?

HI,Am not sure if the kisser has white spot on his tail and one fin or whether it had the spots on it when i got it,ive looked my other fish and there seems to be no spots on them etc...could this possibly be white spot,can i even go ahead and put the treatment in and also turn my heater up etc,what would the best advice be,i dont have any photos of it as it swims of when i try to get a pic,hes just acting the same as normal etc....Cheers

I'd treat it but not in the community tank. Kissers are known for carrying all kinds of nasty stuff, so here is the cure all. In a bare tank or 5gal bucket use 1tbs solar / aquarium salt, a half dose of formalin and an ich medication with malachite green in it. Hold for 24 hours, do a 50% water change and repeat process exactly as before. In 24 hour send the gourami home.

You did not say what size set up you're using, but kissers get well over 6" and can become aggressive when older. A 55gal would hold an adult pair.
