Did you float the bags they were in for 15 minutes or so, then did you gradually add water to the bag for a while a little at a time before you netted the fish out of the bag and put him in the tank?

Kindest Regards,
Amanda

Keeping fish its not a hobby it is a passion!

55 gallon, 44 gallon, one 20 gallon tank, three 10 gallon tanks, and a 2.5 gallon all with real plants.

I have MTS and there is no cure.

Maybe the silicone used is not for aqarium use? Is is silicone at all? Or some other type of glue?
From the data you provided i can only asume something with high toxicity lvl killed your fish and snail.
But wait... what kind of kit did you use to get the data you posted? Was it maybe that... paper thing type test(not sure about the name it has...)? That changes color when you put it in the water? Those are of no use at all.

I have both strips and a test kit.

But I cant figure out what would be hanging around in the tank even after being scrubbed down.
