Did you float the bags they were in for 15 minutes or so, then did you gradually add water to the bag for a while a little at a time before you netted the fish out of the bag and put him in the tank?

aparently in my other half's cleaning frenzy some papers have been misplaced. What I have found
Nitrate 10
Nitrite 0
Hardness 75
Alkalinity 110
pH 7.2
Ammonia 0

Maybe the silicone used is not for aqarium use? Is is silicone at all? Or some other type of glue?
From the data you provided i can only asume something with high toxicity lvl killed your fish and snail.
But wait... what kind of kit did you use to get the data you posted? Was it maybe that... paper thing type test(not sure about the name it has...)? That changes color when you put it in the water? Those are of no use at all.

lol youre telling me. Im really disappointed in losing my Cichlid. He was my co workers and she didnt want him anymore. He was a beautiful purple almost 6in long. Sad knowing he died =(

I have both strips and a test kit.

But I cant figure out what would be hanging around in the tank even after being scrubbed down.
