im new , 150 gallon and need advise

hi , i have a 150 gallon tank , im totally new to this and want to set this up properally .I have heard so may different opnions on how to set this up . what i bought was a rena xp3 . but now im told that that is not enough . im going to do fresh water .should i get another xp3 or something else ? if i get another do i hook them up inline or totally seperate . all i have for this is a tank and one xp3 nothing else . any help would be a help , thanks chad[/b]

hello and welcome.
what a lovley size aquarium :)
well xp3 is for an aquarium size of 250-600ltrs
so it should fair well for you.
do you know what you would like to stock it with,
as this may lead to you wanting/needing extra filtration.

thanks for your reply , im not sure what im going to go with . i do want to put different kinds off fish . that will be compatable . but right now i just want to set it up the right way . even if i do a little over kill .

never usually a problem to run two filters,
