I Need Some Ideas Ladies and Gents!!

SO guys heres an update...i returned my cichlids to the LFS and completely cleaned out my whole tank. I went and got 2 bags of white silica sand washed them out like a million times and put them in. Now My tank has sand, i got a peice of drift wood and put some java moss on it to see how long that will last. Then yesterday i went out and got an amazon sword plant. Now i need some suggestions on fish...i want a fish that will eat guppies and maybe rosies/goldfish once it gets bigger. So far thats in my tank is a common pleco and a rubbernose pleco...Help Please:]

It would help to know what your pH and hardness is to suggest fish that'll thrive in it?

Also 1 plant on 90g....maybe consider adding a few more plants?

haha, well a pacu will certainly eat guppies and rosyreds. Just be sure the rosyreds u feed aren't diseased as is common in the cramped conditions they are kept in the the stores.

Pacu get far too large for a 90g tank and are mostly herbivores so shouldn't be fed meaty foods like fish on a regular basis.

As for feeders, I would strongly discourage you from feeding any tropical fish feeder goldfish or rosy reds purchased from the store. For one thing, these fish are often kept in very poor conditions and carry lots of diseases as a result. Second, these coldwater species aren't a healthy thing for tropical fish to eat. If you plan on making live feeder fish a major part of your tropical fish's diet, I encourage you to start your own breeding tank for livebearers such as guppies (for smaller fish) or up to mollies (for larger fish).

If you're looking for predatory fish, leopard bushfish would do well in your tank, provided they have plenty of plants. You could house a group of them in tank of that size.
