I'm thinking of doing Angel fish and some other small schooling fish.

Well... My moms not too happy about the tank. She thinks I have too many. All I have is a 55, and a ten running. I also have a 35 not running( the one I traded for) and a 5 and some kritter keepers. And the thing is she asked me to set the 35 back up, I wanted to give it away, which I did.

So she would prefer the 35 over 75?

I think she's just worried about space.

Ahh that's understandable.

What about something like
6 Angels
8 Zebra Loaches
A brown ghost knife for something different. OR a group of Hatchets, assuming they get big enough to not be a snack for the Angels. Not sure on if they do or not. I have 2 angels in my 75 right now (thanks to my mom grabbing them) and they are the most friendly fish you will find.

If you do two you might want to make sure its a bounded pair. Otherwise one might harass the other one to death. General rule of thumb with angels is 1, 2 (as a pair), or a school of 6+(this is the option that tends to be the best and most natural for the fish). Otherwise aggression could be an issue. I have 2 currently that are just babies that I have to watch for aggression atm, if i see any I'm going to have to move/rehome one.
