I have big fat 000's!!

So I tested my water last night real quick before bed. I didn't expect much since I just tested 2 days ago. Well I got big fat zeros!! I can't believe it!!!

Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 10

I'm one water change away from my fish!!!!!!!! It only took 6 weeks! I'm going to stop tonight and pick up some more plants and then tomorrow I can start with my cories.

Be careful, when adding fish expect your readings to very somewhat. You are changing the environment somewhat. Just be careful and patient. Just because your readings are good does not mean hat you can completely stock your tak now. Go slowly with caution.

So far I picked up several new plants and 3 cories. I'll see how that goes for a week or two before anything else. I'm thinking I got my cories this month so next month if all is good, I'll get my gouramis and a month later the angels. I'm not looking to waste money because I move too quick.

Isn't it a great feeling when you tank has finally cycled? Just to echo what herefishy said, keep a very close eye on the water parameters and I would recommend daily testing.

What sort of corys did you get?

Hmm...maybe I'm missing some important info here, but why is it taking 6 weeks to cycle up your tank? Are you doing a fish less cycle or something?
