Thanks! No we aren't going to find out. We did with our daughter and that was ok but I'm trying to be surprised even though it's driving me nuts lol. It's our last so a surprise should be fun :)

Very nice fish!

Is the tank meant to be viewed from all angles, or just from the front and sides? If you can't see the tank from the back, you could try getting a solid black background for the tank. It would really add some depth to the tank and the fish and plants would look so much better, plus it might make that big ol' filter less noticeable.

That's a very good idea. I've been thinking about it but the corners are rounded so I'm not sure what to use. I think maybe I'll just try some construction paper for now and see if that holds up at all. At least it will look nicer temporarily.

Simon is just as perky this morning as he was last night so I'm pleased :D

Oh thank you. I'm using the Nikon D40 with just the kit lens. I have a lens that would have probably worked better but didn't bother putting it on :eek: lol
