I currently have in my possession, my 150 gallon aquarium! I took pics to share, but I can't find my cable to upload it to the computer anywhere, I'll hopefully have pics up later tonight when I get off work around midnight. I got the tank, stand, lights, and heaters/chemicals for $300!
The tank looks to be in great condition, I am probably going to fill it up in the kitchen for a couple days just to make sure there are no leaks, then I'll set it up in the living room where it's going and begin cycling!
I did my first full water change today......MY GOD! Now I have found the 1 downside to the 150....
How do some of you guys with even bigger tanks do your water changes? I used a rubber-maid container and marked it off in 10 gallon increments, but WHEW!
Yeah, fortunately somebody has resealed it since its original purchase. I wish I could speak with the original owner so I could ask WHY it was done....but yeah, it has been resealed on the inside.

Right now I have 2 Oscars, 2 Plecos, 1 Jack Dempsey, 1 Senegal Bichir, 1 Blue Gourami, and 2 Africans that may or may not stay in there. I'm going to let these grow up a little bit and see how space is, but I'll probably add something else on down the road.
as far as water changes go, i just run a hose from the out-take of the tank to the sink and let it drain (thanks gravity!) or just hook up a hose to a syphon and let gravity do its work again. I get better suction with gravity than with the python faucet attachment, i HATE that thing!

Your water pressure may not be that great. I get allot of suction when I have the faucet on. Fortunately, I have a TV in the basement, which is where all the tanks are at. So I usually just turn on the faucet to start the suction, then turn off the faucet after awhile and let gravity works on it's own. It's allot slower, so I just watch TV for awhile. Since I use my water change/filling setup, I don't have to worry about over draining the tank.
Yep, I'm very.....unconventional....with my stocking, but I make sure nobody is being picked on. The oscars would be the last thing I worry about, though. The Jack Dempsey chases the gourami about once per day, but when it catches up it doesn't bite him.
