Actually, I can believe that you both had eggs, with Angel getting hers first. Cories like to breed when storms come in (hence the lower water for the water changes you've been doing). Apart from that, they can sense the pressure changes from incoming storms. With Angel being to the west of you and storms generally moving west to east...you get the idea.

How awesome Kelso; how's the egg world looking today?

I can only back up what iambatman said there considering out locations....I'm hoping the next storm rolling in tomorrow will get mine going again lol
