how to prepare dw

i have fresh manzanita wood that i cut last weekend. i was told that if i bake it until it's dry (it's still green, clearly), peel the bark, and then boil it, it will be tank-ready.

what temp should i bake it at? do i use sandpaper to de-bark it?

Cross check on the Temp but I wanna say it was something around 125-150F.
Once you've baked it the bark will just chip off easily.

Sounds like a nice DW there - Waiting on pictures
