how many filters for my 120g

As of right now I have one Fluval 405 for my 120g. I am wondering if this will be enough to effectively clean my water. Should i get another 405 or a large HOB?

Thanks

On a tank that big, it's nice to have more than one filter to keep from having dead spots in the tank, but whether or not you actually need more filtration capacity largely depends on what fish you've got in the tank.

I'm planning on having planted community tank with angelfish, rainbow, and cory.

Unless you overstock the tank, that filter should be big enough. You will need to clean the substrate yourself because I doubt it will cause enough current to stir the bottom much.

If you can't get good flow across the bottom, it would probably be a lot cheaper to just buy a powerhead and have it move some water across the bottom than to buy a second filter just for this purpose.

Yea I know I have a lot of power heads left over from when it used to be a SW. I have the 2 of the lower power ones running across the bottom in different directions.
