How long should i wait?

Hi
I was wondering since I upgraded from a 20 gallon to a 40+ gallon tank and i move all the gravel, the water, the decorations and i put the filter media and the bio pad from my old filters inside a marineland penguin 350, how long should i leave them there so the bio wheels from the marineland filter absorb the BB?
Thanks in advance.

I don't know what are you talking about! Me and the voices inside my head will prove you
wrong!

You don't actually need to move the water unless it is different from your tap water. I would leave the old media in the new filter for at least a few weeks. Probably closer to a month.
