How To Keep Tetras From Eating Betta Food/ Bettas Eating Tetra Food?
How do I keep bettas from eating Tetra Food? I might be getting a larger tank like this: (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L-P2xqZMI8E) tonight. I want to add a few tetras, but I want to know: (See Title).

Thanks!

Honestly, I've never been able to feed my betta separately from my other fish and I stopped worrying about it. My betta will eat flake and freeze dried blood worms, my tetras will eat the betta's food. So now I just put a mixture in and its first come first serve.

So if I get tetras, I sould just feed the betta food along with the tetra food? Will the betta like the tetra food? Will it be good for the betta as well as the tetra?

Are you thinking of getting neon tetras? I have female bettas in a community tank. I've don't have neons but my Rummynose tetras feed at mid level. They don't really come to the surface to eat but the female bettas do. I'll put a pinch of flake food for the tetras under the surface of the water so they float down and drop some betta pellets at the surface for the female bettas. Sure, they eat a little of the other food too but this seems to work out ok. Everyone eats the frozen foods on the days I feed those.

150 Gallon - Mostly American Cichlids
135 Gallon - Angelfish Community
55 Gallon - Polleni Tank
20 Gallon Long - QT
10 Gallon - QT
75 Gallon coming soon!
