ok to clear everything up... i have only had the tank up for one week so many it is one week old. and yall have helped me out alot. Another thing....when do i change my filter? Change it once no more water can go through it or what? When i do change it do i need to add benifical bacteria or what? thanks guys
Your filter i wouldnt touch for at least a month and then just rinse the media off in some old tank water like another member said and put it right back in.............Dont swap it out with new stuff for at least 3 months, just rinse it like i said when you think its too dirty...........Adding something like Stresszyme when you do water changes wont hurt, the least it will do is give your beneficial bacteria a boost
