How to clean green spot algae on Acrylic?

What is the fastest and best no-scratch way to clean green spot algae off an acrylic tank? I made the mistake of not doing a wipe-down on my acrylic tank for two weeks. Now, it's taking forever to scrub the green spot algae off using a soft washcloth!

Any better way that does not risk scratches? I read the "Member Submitted Article" regarding cleaning acrylic. I like the idea of using an an old credit card and I have a mag-float I us in another tank, but I'm seriously worried the mag-float will scratch the acrylic.

*560 gallons (2120 liters) in 5 tanks -> you do the math.

I have employed two very effective methods... a sponge that's made especially for acrylic, and a Nerite snail. The former sits in complete disuse since I got the latter.

P.S. I def don't trust magnetic cleaners. One little grain of sand or something and the acrylic is done for.

Tried the credit card scraper idea, worked well. Used my white library card, helped me find the algae spots!
