Jentralala, that's the most saddest thing I've heard in a LONG time. I cant even imagine what would make someone do such a thing ! But, then again, there are some really horrible, crazy lunatics in this world. Walmarts around here also sell them. They keep their fish tanks atrocious. And their Betta cups are even more awful. Charlie, I only wish I could save them all too !
The one in our town got rid of it's aquariums but still has a handful of betta coffins on its shelves when we go get puppy an kittey food we always see them and check on them , All we can do is complain to a manager but it gets the water changed atleast . The super center in the next town over from us has tanks still . Its awfull to though , I just dont understand why a department store sells animals ..... Or why someone would choose a department store to buy animals from ( no offense to any that have ) its a great thing you did you DID save a life , even if its just a lil scaley one its still a life and deserves to be loved and happy in a family . At the very least it should have a clean place to spend its day . We have all these laws about the penal system convicts , murderers , robbers , sexual predators that have laws protecting them and ensureing that they get feed and clean houseing he%% they get satilite in most places . I just dont think its that much to ask that animals wich have hurt or wronged no one get a few of the same . I can be fair about it . okay the fish dont need or have to have rather the premium movie package HBO , Cinamax so on but a cup of clean water aint that much to ask .
