Arrow Home Makeover (55g)

As previously addressed here I wasn't happy with the 55g set up, with the big DW all to the right and the Ludwigia taken over as a Jungle all the way to the front by now....Here's 2 up to date pictures what I just done (incl a 50% w/c so its still lil whitish looking)

And the old picture from the old set up dated Dec 6th when the Ludwigia wasn't as extreme yet.

What ya'll think?

PS Man is it hard to do a 50% w/c with Albion Tiger barbs or WHAT I battled them not to get into the gravel they were so nosy

Oh and guess what behind this Ludwigia Jungle, who would have thought my Amazon Sword has already built 2 new sprouts coming up almost 1 ft (hadn't seen that till today so I'm happy)

Good work Angel! Do the fish have enough space to swim between the bigger plants? I can't tell from this angle but if they don't I would space them a little bit.

Well the Kissings & Cory lovvveeee the Ludwigia on the very right there all bushy, they all hide/ hang out in there. Apperently the Albinos love the newly added spcae that's not "broken up" by DW nor plants and are just running around like nut cases

Subject: Larry LaPrise dead at 93

With all the sadness and trauma going on in the world at the moment, it is worth reflecting on the death of a very important person, which almost went unnoticed last week.

Larry LaPrise, the man that wrote "The Hokey Pokey" died peacefully at the age of 93. The most traumatic part for his family was getting him into the coffin. They put his left leg in. And then the trouble started.

i do like it. the fish have lots of options there as far as space and hiding places. i notice my fish create little paths that they follow from one space to another, and plants naturally create these little nooks in our aquariums.

@Teddy if you like into my aquarium log under New 55g you'll see a more close up picture of them cuties.

I'm curious to see what Byron say's since I kept discussing a new set up with him lol

It looks really nice. If I was a fish that's exactly where I'd want to live!

Like the setup. Nice open area in the center for the fish to show off. Can you come redecorate mine next?

I'm not crazy. Really I'm not but in your first pic I see a small little guy pointing his finger up at a big scary ghost figure with his arms raised in a manner saying... huh? who me? I didn't do it as the little guy curses him out. Look at that dw in the first pic and tell me you don't see that.

Oh my gosh! I see it too! Seriously, if you look, it appears....kinda like those pictures that you have to stare at to make out the images.

Nice tank, Natalie, and fish too! I cannot wait to get more plants going and see them grow like that!
