We have a 55 gallon aquarium, that has been set up since Easter weekend. We were very lucky to have filter media and rocks to get this tank going. Since two weeks after we set this up and had fish in it, we have had zero readings on all tests (ammonia, nitrites, nitrates and the PH is 7). The question we have, is why are we finding dead fish weekly? We have lost 1 blue neon tetra, 1 gourami, 1 male swordtail, cherry barb and now it looks like the other gourami is facing death also. This is what is left in the aquarium.
3 Zebra Danios
2 Female swordtails,
1 baby swordtail
3 Blue neons
4 Little tetras (sorry can not remember the name of them)
This is the complete list of the fish we have in the 55 gallon. We test the water weekly and have never had any troubles with the water. Can someone explain why we are having issues?
