Help with play sand please

About two weeks about I switched over to play sand, but the entire time I've had it in (even after two water changes) it is still slightly cloudy. I just did a water change last night, and I think I'm going to have to do another tonight. (It's a 10g btw, with a filter and heater) No matter how careful I am it just seems to cloud up, and I'm starting to think maybe it's not completely clean. Even though I spent hours trying to get it clear (and did in the bucket). How do some of you manage your sand during cleanings, and how can I get this water crystal clear like it should be? I was considering boiling it, although I'm not sure it would do anything. I also am wondering if I should remove everything from the tank itself and just leave the sand and some water in it and keep stirring it up, while changing water, until it runs clear. Sigh, please help if you can. I feel like I've put so much effort into this tank and it just can't even work out right. I'm obviously doing something wrong.

I use play sand and don't have problems with cloudiness, but I have discovered that all play sand is not equal. Usually the darker play sand is less dusty and once rinsed it does not cloud water at all.The lighter play sands have always taken me longer to wash and take a long time to settle so I avoid them. If you feel the sand when it is dry it is a slightly different texture as well. Sorry I don't have a better way to describe it, but that is my experience with sand.

This is the brand of play sand that I use, http://www.lowes.com/pd_10392-286-111351_4294858246_4294937087_?productId=3006085&Ns =p_product_prd_lis_ord_nbr|0||p_product_quantity_s old|1&pl=1&currentURL=%2Fpl_Sand_4294858246_429493 7087_%3FNs%3Dp_product_prd_lis_ord_nbr|0||p_produc t_quantity_sold|1

What kind do you use? I haven't really seen any other brands of play sand to compare it to.
