Exclamation Help needed!

Hey guys, so here's the situation... Just cleaned my fish tank, but stupidly didn't see if I had any filter pads left, as you can probably guess; I don't.

Anyway, I won't be able to get anything until tomorrow, does anybody know if I can use any household materials to act as a filter pad?

I originally thought a Sponge, but then that would absorb water and clog the system.

Need bright ideas urgently, help is appreciated!!!

Can you put the old one back in, after rinsing it?

If there is other media, it will be fine until you buy new pads. The very fine particulate matter will not get removed from the water of course, but that will not harm anyone.

Ok cool thanks Byron. Couldn't use it again, I'd put it in the bin already and there was some food in there, would've been worse than having no filter pad aha.
