Help with filter??

My air pump is pretty quite but my filter is tetra i have a 29 gal tank that i am keeping tropical fish in nothing that requires heavy filtration, i was wondering what a filter is that makes no noise or is really quiet this 1 is pretty loud???

A small cannister filter, or an intank filter would be my recomendations. I use a whisper 30i for one of my tanks, and I can't hear it at all, as long as you keep the water level close to the top of the filter.

  • 55 Gal x2, 30 Gal, 20 Gal, 20 Long, 10 Gal x 3, 2.5 Gal, 1 Gal
  • 4 Beta's, 3 Pleco's, 4 Convicts, 4 Fire Belly Toads, 4 Serpe Tetras, 3 Angel Fish, 5 Tiger Barbs, 2 Rosey Barbs, 2 Cherry Barbs, 2 Odessa Barbs, 2 YoYo Loaches, 3 Ottos, 2 Yellow Labs, 2 Snails, 1 Black Tiger Barb, 1 Pictus Cat, 1 Balla Shark, 1 Rainbow Shark, 1 Ghost Shrimp, 1 Oscar, 2 Chinease Algea Eater,2 Tadpoles
  • 4 Ferrets,3 Gerbils, 2 Cats, 1 Dog
  • 1 Child, 1 Girlfriend

it is a hang over the side filter and its not the water i hear it is the motor or something a loud HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

What I meant was, I would recommend you get a small canister filter, or an intank filter. Intank filters will not make noise as long as you keep the water up to the top of the filter.
