I'm looking for some help with choosing what fish to put into my Aquarium.

The aquarium is a long 20 Gallon 30" X 12" X 12"

I currently have 3 cory catfish, 1 cherry Platy and 1 Kohaku Swordtail.

I'm looking to add as many fish as I can within limit. Colourful, active and Hardy fish

I was thinking a few tetras or guppies and another 2 or 3 cory catfish

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Mike.

Can you give us your water parimeters that way we can help you chose fish that will do well in your water? I love all corys so for now I would say add at least 3 more of the same kind you have as they are shoaling fish and are happier in groups because they fill safer. Also with tetras remember they to need to be in groups to fill safe. At the top of the page there is a tab that say fish profiles you could also look there to get ideas of what fish you like.

It's looking like your water params will be the most important bit here. Right now you're rocking some livebearers and they tend to like a hard, basic water. Many of the tetras and rasboras that I might otherwise suggest like softer, acidic water. Depending on where you stand, that's the direction I would go.

Definitely double up on the cories.
