| || | I can think of a few reasons on why this is NOT a good idea. These items serve two different purposes, obviously. I don't think a heater should be placed inside a piece of equipment that was made to filter water. - you aren't trying to heat the filter,, you are heating a tank... I don't believe the heater or the filter would work correctly if you combined the two. However, maybe you could write to a company and make the suggestion to them. Who knows :)

Has anybody tried this ? I cant see a reason why it wouldnt work and it would be one less thing that would be seen when viewing the tank.
