Guppy Tanks

I have a 20 gal long tank with a divider and a 10 gal tank. I bought some fish on aquabid. I will have 16-18 adult blue moscows , a big eel, frog, tadpole, a big catfish, a ballon molly and 70-100 guppy fry (different sizes). How should I divide the tanks and who should go in what tank. Or do I need to get another tank (if so how big) Thanks

What eel and catfish do you have? There isn't enough space between two tanks. Determine the eel and catfish species. In the meantime, a 20 gallons can accommodate all your moscow guppies and balloon molly. A 10 gallons can allow about 20-30 fry. Make it bare-bottom so you can clean out the waste with ease. Do plenty of water changes as you raise them. Reduce the number of fry as they mature to pave more space for the others as they grow. The rest should be sold or given away unless you can buy more tanks to raise the fry and eventually sell them as they reach adult stage.

You could have the cory in the 20g because they don't stay very small. They do however like to be in groups so I would recoemmend buying another 4 at least and taking some of your blue moscows out. My personal opinion is that cories aren't very happy on their own as I saw such a huge diffference in my fish when I "saw the light" and decided to add groups of them to my tank rather than just a few.

I can't thik what type of eel that is but I don't know of any eel that is suitable for a 20g tank I'm afraid.

As for the divider, I wouldn't use it. Lupins suggestion was the best suggestion of you ask me. Just keep the tanks the way they are.
