Guppy tank

ok so i know a bit about set up now, what to do and what not to do. But im curious. how do i take down my tank set up so taht i can set it up later? i mean is there a technique to keeping the wet rocks from molding? or the filter from rotting... i guess my main thing is the do i store them? i have 20 pounds of rocks

how long until you use them? if its more then a day or to just dry them out and put them in a bucket.
