got another mystery fish!
Saw this one at pet land (where I prefer to get my fish here in town seeing as there is no dedicated freshwater fish store). It was about 3-4 inches long. Has whiskers like a cat, but long like an eel. Didn't look like any of the twig cats or anything. No label on the tank it was in besides its gourami tank mates. Anyways here it is
29g South American Blackwater Community
- 7 Neon Tetras
- 1 Striped Raphael Catfish
- 1 Bristlenose Pleco
- 5 Peppered Cory Catfish
- 5 Marbled Hatchets
I don't think that's a black kuhli. The dorsal is closer to the head than with a black kuhli loach. I think that's dojo loach or weather loach. Check out pictures here and compare. Dojo loaches come in piebald, pink, and in the natural dark color. I think the natural dark is what you have.
