haha other way round in my house,
i'm the Mrs and i have to hide the fact to the non fishy people that
i've used things i shouldn't have

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

It is opposite in my house too. I am Mrs. Fish Keeper and my husband is the chef. He has an entire collection of All Clad pots, pans, and utensils.

Me: "What do you mean I can't the $300 pot for my gravel? I'll clean it when I'm done"

Not to push my luck, I went to Wally at 6:17 am and bought a big ol', black speckled wood boiling pot. Works great!
