Positive. I've never heard of blue/golds chasing in an appropriate sized tank, either, though.

Okay... Everyone hears different things, but some are real and some are made up.

Fish are aggressive more so when not given proper tank size ( as side from African cichlids abs DGs whom are a-holes no matter what .

You are totally safe getting 2-3 maybe 4 angels and raising them together . And yes they are a cichlid species full of personality totally worthy of consideration .

I have had aggressive Pearl and Blue Gourami. Not in the same tank, but my experiences with both this species has me advising only ONE Gourami to a tank. They CAN chase everything in the tank stressing them to exhaustion. Other keepers can keep several together!
I think they are another fish like Betta that have a personality and tolerance to other fish. Unfortunately we only find out the hard way by adding too many or the wrong one. I find Angels to be like this too. I may be wrong but I think they are best when added as a group all at the same time. Adding one later on can get picked on. Someone correct me if I'm wrong!

That is true, i had a angel for quiet a while, then i added a new medium sized one and dang he HATED him, now after 2 months. They somewhat get along. So ya if you add a group of gouramis or angels add them all at once. Or if the angels are small little babies you can add some than some a little bit later.

Seahorse .. In regards to angels I find they are more then anything just straight up racist lol. They'll form groups with like colored ones and pick on different looking ones when you have a group. That and adding later is fine .. Adding different sized is not . I have a bunch in my 225 and I only add mine to the group once they've reached a close enough size and if there is an odd man out I try to raise a similar looking one to settle that score . It works really well . So yeah .. They're so racist I've considered adding some art to the background near there chosen spots like "Koi water fountain only " and "platinum club , others not welcome " lol

Check each of the fish you are considering on seriouslyfish.com That will tell you the habitat, water parameters, numbres to keep to have them happy and healthy.

Rummy nose tetras need a school of at least 10 to be healthy. And they are delicate, you need to maintain proper water parameters. I lost my school of 10 in 8 hours when my filter failed this past March -- I was out at the time.

Otos should only be added to an established tank, as they are vegetarians and need the algae. You can feed cucumber as a treat, but it has little or no nutritional value for otos. Zucchini - blanched - is very healthy for them. Mine also enjoy the blanched sweet potato I put in (for my mystery snails, as it contains calcium for their shells).
