Gonna get me some Terra Cotta Pots.

So basically, I'm interested in investing some terra cotta pots for my two bettas. (5 gallon, divided, to be planted).

Where can I find this locally? Online is not an option. I would prefer quite small ones too.

Now, if I get these pots, what is the proper way to clean them out safely? And I'm aware of having to plug the hole at the base of the pot.

Thank you :)

I would think your local hardware store would have some. Just ask if they would have been treated with a coating. As for cleaning, i cannot answer this one.

Personally, I've found them at the dollar store (99cent store, to be exact) but I'm sure Lowe's or Home Depot; maybe even OSH, has them.

Thanks for calling! Lol I'm way too lazy to do that, haha.

Oh lovely, that's CHEAP... I'll also call Home Depot...whenevever. It's midnight here, they won't pick up haha. I don't have a nearby dollar store, but I may pass by one occasionally.

What is "6''"? Is that the length of the pot, or the diameter of the opening?

Haha, I'll need one bigger than that. But when I pass by the dollar store, I'll be sure to check it out as well.

So, does anybody know how to properly clean it?
