gh , kh , co2 ??

can anyone explain to me how to understand the kh , gh , co2 , relationship heres my tank specs in a 55 gal planted tank :

ph 7.5 to 7.6
amm 0
nitrite 0
nitrate less then 10ppm
gh 8 drops
kh 5 drops
co2 conversion don't understand but chart says 5 mg/l really confused:

I here people saying that they are about 30: 30 what? ppm , mg/l if so how do I convert to ppm?
