I'm going out tomorrow to buy quite a few more plants. I'll do the water change w/the Prime, add the plants and then add one betta. I'll follow your process. Thanks again!
You're welcome. Keep us posted, esp if something occurs, but I wouldn't expect it. I've set up large tanks with plants and fish on day one and never an issue.

i tried that recently and found a way.just make sure the tank water is clear and clean and the plants and fish do well even if they are set in on the very first day of the cycle

Thanks kitten penang - I've been watching my water parameters daily. At this point I only added one betta, and she's really small. I bought 9 stems of pennywort, 3 stems of wisteria and 3 stems of water sprite. I already had a petite anubias and a 7" anubias. I did a 100% water change which removed all the nitrites. I used the Prime and I've been watching my water parameters every day. After 2 days the ammonia is still registering at .50ppm, but I realize it's just the converted ammonium. I plan on buying a few more plants tomorrow to help remove it completely. I'll keep you posted. Thanks again!
