Do you think i can add an other shoal of Tetra (Bloodfin or Diamond)?
So it will be 12 Neon, 12 Gold, 8 or more Bloodfin-Diamond, 6 Julii
Is there a fish a can get a little bigger 3-4" for a center piece?
Byron, it's because of you that i joined this forum
I live close to Kingsway and Fraser
Where do you live?
Do you know Canadian Aquatics?
Thank you, very kind words. I am in Pitt Meadows (I list Vancouver because no one outside here would know Pitt Meadows
). Yes, I know Charles at Canadian Aquatics, I buy most of my fish there as I prefer wild caught and I have never had problems with Charles' fish. I acquired some 55 fish from Charles only a few weeks back. Very reliable.
Another shoal of characins will work--though you should consider live plants, they make a big
difference to the fish. Bloodfin can be nippy. Diamonds are nice, I picked up more just last week. But you might want to consider upper level fish to balance...so far everything is in the lower half of the water column.
Centrepiece fish is not easy. One that comes to mind is the Bolivian Ram, but here again it is a bottom dweller. I have a male in my 5-foot Amazon river tank, he is close to 5 years now which is doing well for a fish with (if lucky) a 4-year life.
