Exclamation Fish Keep Dying! 5 Gal. Tank

Hi everyone, I'm new here, and I'm really needing help with my 5 gallon fish tank.

As far as I know, I'm doing everything right... the tank has been up and running for over 2 months now. I have a preset aquarium heater 78F, and I do 20% water changes weekly. I've been replacing the carbon in the filter every 3 weeks. The types of fish that I have been getting are Mollies and Platies. I have one Crowntail Betta in there, and he's done fine ever since I put him in. He doesn't like anyone to get close to him, but I've never really seen him chase anyone around the tank, so I didn't think that he was the issue.

The only things I use in my aquarium are Stress Coat and Stress Zyme. I feed my fish a variety of foods, including Aqueon Tropical Flakes, Aqueon Color Enhancing Flakes, Freeze Dried Bloodworms, and Frozen Brine Shrimp (all in moderation of course) I feed them 2 times a day, once in the morning and once at night, and they have the food eaten in a minute or less. The water is clear and clean. We use well water, and before I put any new water in, I always treat it with Stress Coat.

The weird thing is, they all act fine. I always know if one is going to die though, because they'll start staying at the bottom for a couple of hours before they die. They don't have ick, and I don't see anything wrong on any of them... Right now all I have is one platy and my Betta. Last week I had 6 fish in the tank. Why is everyone dying??

Please help!!

your tank is seriously over stocked if you have a Betta and 5 other fish in there. a 5 gallon is only good for a single Betta some plants and maybe a small deco.
