There is also a company Ginger Inc. That makes filter cartridges that will work in emperor series. They are cheaper, hold more carbon. and last longer. Don't have the website address here at work but google on Ginger Inc. should produce results. I tried these cartridges and was impressed with them. Still use them on one tank and as soon as I am out of the twenty four emperor cartridges i ordered six months ago ,i will stick with the cheaper Ginger filters.

The most important medication in your fish medicine cabinet is.. Clean water.
