Filter current power

I have a whisper power filter. The current coming from the filter (where the water leaves the filter) is a bit too powrful for it moves plants around. i know theres already a thread similiar to this, but i had trouble finding it T_T. any suggetions on how to reduce the power of the current?

Knowing exactly what filter you have would really help. My Aquaclear has a little lever that can adjust intake/outflow within a fairly small range. Keeping your water level high also helps. If all else fails you can probably rig something (a bit of plastic bottle or whatnot) to the outflow.

I didn't think there was much more to say on my idea. It doesn't look to have any sort of flow adjustment. I'd try adding something onto the return (the bottle bit I mentioned before maybe).
