I would recomend the aqueon quiet flow filter. Its fast quiet and works really great.

filter keeps going out

my filter keeps going out, so i was looking for suggestions on a good tank filter.
currently my water is cloudy because the filter isn't working properly. so i need to know what filter is a good filter to get. my tank is 25 gallons (i know i need a bigger one than that) i have 2 goldfish and 1 molly and 3 platys, and 1 baby platy.

thank you in advance

Are you limiting your focus on a sponge filter only? I think I would only use a sponge filter on a small tank, a tank with fry, or a tank with lots of plants. Otherwise, I think you need more of a filter than a sponge alone can provide - just my $.02

What size tank and what fish do you have?

Father Knows Best but Abbey knows everything! I once knew everything, then I asked one question.
