Ive read that tiger barbs and some other fish lilke to eat veggies like cucumber
how do you do that? just cut off a slab and pop it in?
or do you need to cut it small enough to fit in their mouths?
also would guppies or dojo loaches like this? im sure my ramshorn snails would
Hi, I use cucumber and I dont blanch it. Just wash really well, cut a 1/2 slice or so and spear it to a stainless steel fork. My guppies and platies love it. I usually leave it for no longer than 2 days and the only thing left is the rind. They might not go for it the first time you try it but keep trying until they realize its food, they will love it.
is it better for them to give em some cucumber a few times a week than just flakes?
