Empty Tank with Mirrored 45gal Tank. I want it gone!

So, i made a similar thread a few months back, only i was looking for how to fix the mirror with it being full of water.
Well, since disaster struck, in a few days, ill have that tank empty, and able to get that darned mirror off!

It cant be scraped, as ive tried it, it would take me a month, every day all day, and im not going to do that!

Ive been thinking of painting a piece of plastic, and sealing it with silicone.
Ive thought of spray painting the inside, though thatll be alot of taping off, and a lot of room for error.
Fpr that idea, id need to know if there are any aquarium safe paints, ive heard Krylon might be one?
Another idea i had was to silicone a background to the inside of the glass, though im not exactly sure if that would work.

I was advised before to build a background, out of stones, or Styrofoam, but i recently got a full time job, so id like it to be a bit simpler, if possible! =]

Krylon Fusion spray paint is aquarium safe. Have used it in a few tanks without ever having a fish die.

Acetone will remove the glue if you used that to put the mirror on..do it outside and use a Respirator mask, do not use anywhere near an air intake for the house /apt, it stinks but is very good at removing residue.

It will take a few days to allow the tank to dry off after you use it to make sure no acetone is left. Rinse, rinse and then rinse some more and then it air dry and rinse it again and let dry.

Hope this helps.

10g Fry / Hospital / QT tank (as needed)

75g Saltwater Reef, Ocellaris Clownfish, Lyretail Antias (baby), Lemon damsel, Longtail Fairy Wrasse, purple dottyback, snails, crabs and a few LPS corals.

220g Still sitting empty (come on Lottery I need the numbers to come up!)

Hmmm, I'm going to get some krylon fusion to paint my intake tubes black.

I think the mirrored back is a factory original - Not sure if it can be removed.

If your thinking of a black covering, I might just get a piece of acrylic the right size, paint the back side then silicone it in place. ?
