Eheim Filter 2213 is leaking

im new to aquariums my brother gave me his old eheim filter 2213, and by old i mean it has been use for no more then 2 year, it has started to leak were to of the filter tubes meet at this valve. Any clue what going on and how to stop it? Thank for your help.

I have an older Eheim 2217, not sure yours works the same way.
Can you release the threads, push the tube farther up, then re thread?

I am in the market for a used 2213, You could just sell it to me. Lol!

If the filter is from a cycled tank, wash everything with dechlorinated water.

ok I thank that i know what it might be it looks like it might have a bad rubber ring on it now just got to see if there a place were i can replace that.
