Eggs?

I found this on a leaf last night during a water change and thought that it might be a snail egg bunch... but I am not so sure. Definitely not fish eggs, nothing in there yet to lay eggs.

Thoughts?

Jeff.

Yes there snail eggs, most do come in on the plants. Did you scrub them before dropping them in your tank?

What you going to do? Keep em? Or wipe em out? They breed like mad, so you could end up with trillions

The plants were clean, we have this one snail that was transferred from my daughter's betta tank. It's never done anything and now this? I'm going to let it go as I was planning on snails anyway.. MTS was my thought due to the sand substrate but the LFS doesn't carry them. I still want some of those but these will be a good start. My daughter will be thrilled as she loves snails and constantly goes looking for "Shelly" the lone snail.

Besides, the catfish I am planning may choose to snack on them.

Eggs + 12 barbs = no eggs in a hurry.

Well, more eggs.

This time I put them in a baggie and left it floating on the side of the aquarium. I change the water in the baggie once or twice a day for the plant... and maybe for the eggs I suppose. These are in a different configuration than the previous eggs, I doubt it the fish as I think that barbs are scatters and they are pretty young yet.

So, I have tiger snails and some sort of pond snail. I don't think the tigers were even in the tank when the first batch showed up and, when they were placed, they did spend a day clinging together... shortly thereafter these eggs show up and they are different. I think tigers need salt water for the eggs, I haven't looked into this yet but I should.

Anyone know off hand if this is likely what they are?

Sorry for the poor pic, I didn't realize it was so fuzzy until posting it now.
