driftwood

I was just wondering where the best place to get driftwood was. Is there any websites that sell it? I have been looking on ebay and have found some but none of the pet stores in this area have any.
Thanks
Gary

you wont need to buy it off ebay, try to get it at your lfs, get the ones that are already in the tank as those are waterlogged, probably clean, and are choch full of beneficial bacteria that will help the tank a lot. also when i say probably clean it doesnt mean that they are, you should soak it in a tub of water and throw some pinches of fish food in there to keep the ammonia going so the bacteria wont die.

Matt, you should start an on-line driftwood business... LOL

Susan

Pardon the pun, but I'm hooked!

My LFS has driftwood, but it's insanely expensive... I haven't had trouble at all getting driftwood off ebay. I soak and boil it though myself even if it does say it's already been done just to be sure. It's a ton cheaper, and I think prettier, than anything that I've seen at a LFS around here (Ohio)

I had good luck here http://www.aquaticeco.com/index.cfm/...75/isProduct/1
I bought 2 large pieces for my 120g and they look great, didn't discolor the water and best of all were cheap.
