i had to saw a chunk off the back to get it off the front glass... yeah it's a bit too big for the tank >.< it makes a nice little cave underneath though and this tank is pretty temporary, i'll be setting up something larger once i move :d

With that much driftwood I'd be interested to know what your pH is versus what it comes out of your tap as...

i've been checking levels daily. ph out of the faucet is around 7, and it hasn't really changed since i added the wood.

we'll see, i guess. it's only been in there for two days. i boiled it three times for half an hour each, let it cool, and put it in, and no adverse effects yet.
